I know I'm not the only one who thinks summer flies by way too fast! Because of this, I made it a goal early on to max out the warm weather and spend every waking second enjoying the sunshine! This summer, I've also enjoyed picking up some new favorite products, so I thought I'd turn them into a blog post and share them with you! With that, here are my top ten product picks that I used all summer long...
1. I know what you're thinking... a sweater for summer? The answer is YES! I wore this Monogrammed Boyfriend Sweater with a pair of white shorts and sandals all summer long! If you're anything like me and spend your summer in the sun, this is perfect to knock off that cool wind chill from your sunburn!
2. Gold hoops are a classic, and these Featherweight Brushed Hoop Earrings are a jewelry collection must-have! I either wore these or my silver pair non-stop! They're super lightweight (hence, the name), you can dress them up or down and they are very affordable — what's not to love? Especially during travel, I loved to use my Monogrammed Jewelry Folio to keep me organized!
3. When this bag first launched, orders for this Monogrammed Clear Crossbody Bag flew out of the door — and for a good reason! I took this bag to a few concerts this summer and it was perfect for the occasion! Bonus, this is also the perfect bag to wear into fall as we head into football season!
4. This Monogrammed Large Beach Bag is so functional for summer! When I'm going to the pool or beach, I tend to overpack, but this tote saved the day every single time! Whatever you need for your fun in the sun, this bag can handle it — a towel, cooler, snacks, book, speaker, phone, keys, wallet, drink insulator, a hat, a change of clothes — you name it!
5. My favorite sunnies this summer were my classic gold-rimmed RayBans. They're super stylish and go with any #OOTD whether you're going dressy or keeping it casual.
6. I purchased my first Tarteist Lip Paint from Ulta back in December around Christmas and this has been my go-to ever since! It has a beautiful matte finish and the application is so smooth and buttery. My favorite shade is "Low Key" which has warm pink undertones. This also makes a good transition color as we head into fall.
7. If you caught our last beauty guide, you might recognize this foundation. It's the perfect dewy finish for a sun-kissed glow! It's a medium to full buildable coverage. In the summer, I prefer my natural tan peep through, so I apply a thin layer. Another honorable mention this season was this Monogrammed Train Case. This will house all your beauty essentials and keep them safe on-the-go!
8. Dry Bar is a super luxurious brand and this Triple Sec product does not disappoint. At first, I had a hard time justifying the price point, but after I did some research and learned how to use the product, it was a game changer. My hair is naturally wavy, but very fine and thin, so when I blow dry my hair, everything tends to fall flat. This three-in-one spray texturizes, amplifies and volumizes and I've loved the results! Plus, it smells like heaven! To prevent any spills or accidental sprays, I keep all my hair products in this Monogrammed Seersucker Ditty Bag!
9. If you're the girl-on-the-go like me, this nail polish color will be your new best friend! I found this drugstore favorite accidentally at Target when I was looking for a light pink shade. I was a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding back in June. I ran out of time to get my nails done and this color saved the day! It has a shiny finish and, as the product advertises, it truly is an instant dry!
10. Last but certainly not least is this moisturizer! I can't say enough great things about this product. Each morning, I would wash my face and generously apply this moisturizer. It's deliciously fragrant of citrus which made me look forward to my morning routine every day even on the days when I wanted to hit "snooze" on my alarm.
So there you have it — my favorite products from Summer 2018. Now, I would love to hear yours! Leave a comment down below and let us know what made your list this season!
