9 Tips for Packing the Perfect Beach Bag

Spring is almost here! Now is the time to search for the perfect beach bag so that you can get it packed and ready to go for vacations and warmer months. 1) Sunglasses

The first must-have item to pack in your beach bag is a pair of sunglasses. We recommend leaving your name-brand sunglasses at home so that they don't get dirty. Be sure to bring a pair that filters out UVA and UVB light to protect your eyes from the sun.

2) Visor or Hat

3) Flip Flops

You can't head out for a day in the sun without a pair of flip-flops. You'll want to make sure you have a comfortable pair since you will likely be wearing these to and from the beach.

4) Sunscreen

When packing your beach bag, you must not forget the sunscreen! It's important to use a sunscreen with broad-spectrum protection to fight against UVA and UVB rays. We recommend using sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher and applying it at least every two hours. If swimming or sweating, you should apply it every hour.

5) SPF Lip Balm

Not only does your skin need protection from the sun, but so do your lips! Toss some sunscreen lip balm in your bag to keep your lips protected from harmful sun rays.

6) Beach Towel
